Resident Review

The Ellen Shaw de Paredes Breast Cancer Foundation sponsors an annual Resident Review in the spring.  Residents from programs across the mid-Atlantic participate in the full-day program.  While most of the residents attend in order to receive a detailed review of mammography for the oral board examinations, some of the participants are more junior, and want to take advantage of additional training.     

The agenda for the course includes instruction in assessment of masses and calcifications with unknown cases, assessment of asymmetries and distortions, radiologic pathologic correlation of breast lesions, and an afternoon of hands on workshops in stereotactic and ultrasound guided biopsies and unknown cases.
